  1. Download OpenVPN:
    • Visit the OpenVPN Community Downloads page.
    • Choose the appropriate installer for your system (Windows 64-bit or 32-bit).
  2. Install OpenVPN:
    • Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
    • If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click “Yes” to allow the installation.
  3. Set Up OpenVPN:
    • After installation, you should see an OpenVPN GUI icon on your desktop and in the system tray.
    • Right-click the OpenVPN GUI icon in the system tray and select “Import file” to import your VPN configuration file (provided by your VPN service or company).
  4. Connect to VPN:
    • Right-click the OpenVPN GUI icon again, select the imported profile, and click “Connect.”
    • Enter your VPN username and password when prompted.
  5. Verify Connection:
    • Once connected, you can verify your VPN connection by checking your IP address on a site like WhatIsMyIP.com.
